Well, it’s summer! I can safely say that my Sophomore year of high school was a great experience. My grades were solid (I still can’t conjugate verbs in Spanish) but I feel good about where the year landed. The basketball season was AMAZING. I got to cut nets and we made it to state! We also broke records winning District, Regionals and Sectionals for the first time in school history!
Then in soccer, we made history, too! We won regionals and made it to sectional for the first time since DCHS opened in 1971! One of my favorite moments is in the video below. My brother’s assist to my goal during our District Championship.
