I went to a Mac McClung event at Gate City High School not long ago. Since we haven’t lived in Tennessee long, I had never been to one of his camps, which he does every year. I have followed him my whole life. He was in high school when I first started playing so it was always a topic, especially during the holidays when we’d come to the Tri-Cities and go watch basketball tournaments.
Anyway, I participated in his three-point contest and actually won! As a result, I got these signed shoes, which are in my closet with a signed shirt, waiting on him to dominate the NBA one day.
I guarded him during a 5v5 session and he shot a three-pointer in my face like it was nothing. And watching him dunk is like watching something fake, but in real life. It’s crazy how high he jumps and how easy he makes it look.
