Things have been crazy for the last month. First, my big brother graduated from high school. Which is good, but also weird. Next, two of my teammates transferred. In fact, the two other c/o 2026 starters. Right after that, our head coach took a new job at Daniel Boone (his high school, which has always been his dream job). It’s been hard. But, the guys on my team are putting in tons of work and even with the new and unexpected starting lineup, we’re building chemistry and, I think, playing really well as a team. I still don’t know officially who our head coach will be, so the weird stuff continues, but I am sure that we’re going to persevere, and I’m convinced we just might surprise people.
