Tuesday marked the end of the District Tournament. Thankfully, we finished with another W against Boone, and we will move on to Regionals starting Saturday. We play Greeneville at Greeneville and I know we’ll have to work for it. After the game, the committee announced Conference and District awards. I was honored to be named All-Conference and District All-Tournament, but most of all I was absolutely humbled to be announced as the 2026 District Offensive Player of the Year. I have played alongside and against some of the most talented players in our area this season (every season for that matter), and to be recognized alongside the likes of Reed Miller, Braden Howard, and Evan Chambers is something I’ll never forget. If anything, this experience has added fuel to my fire to work hard chase this dream as far as I can.
